We gratefully accept donations during our opening hours. As all our donations have to be carried upstairs, please be kind enough to bring them in manageable sized bags. Thank you.
We love good quality:
Clothes, accessories, jewellery, books, toys, bric-a-brac, music, films, small electrical items, bedding and curtains, mobile phones, old or foreign coins, new pillows and quilts.
We are unable to accept and sell:
Car seats, knives, computers, videos, televisions, foot spas, safety helmets, swimming aids, ski boots, large furniture, used pillows and quilts.
Recycling
Have you ever wondered what happens to the clothes and goods we cannot sell? Well the good news is that all unsuitable clothes, shoes, bags, belts, curtains, books, and electrical items are collected by a recycling company who pay for every bag they collect. They then sort and recycle everything, even odd shoes and send them overseas.
Obviously some donations that are broken or not in a saleable condition have to be disposed in our refuse bins which is why we have to occasionally say no to accepting items that we are unlikely to sell or recycle. We hope you understand on those rare occasions.
Leaving donations
So that the items you donate do not get wet or stolen, please be kind enough to bring in your donations during our opening hours between Monday - Saturday from 9:00am - 5:30pm. Thank you very much.
